Pregnancy safe product scanner
Is it okay for your stage? Scan the label and see.
Momclear checks skincare, cosmetic and food ingredients against where you are — trying to conceive, pregnant, breastfeeding or postpartum — and tells you plainly what it found, and what it couldn't read.

Honest results
Four outcomes. Never a false "100% safe".
A tick badge that says "safe" can't know your dose, your stage or the ingredient it couldn't read. Momclear uses four outcomes instead — and always lists what it couldn't recognise.
Nothing recognised on the label raises a concern for your stage.
Amount, strength or where you apply it changes the answer.
A recognised ingredient is usually avoided at your stage — ask a professional.
The label was unclear or ingredients weren't recognised. We say so.
Stage-aware
Trying to conceive isn't pregnant. Pregnant isn't breastfeeding.
Trying to conceive
Some ingredients are best stopped before you start trying, not after a positive test.
Pregnant
The strictest stage. Results flag what to avoid and what depends on the amount.
Breastfeeding
Different from pregnancy — what matters is what reaches breast milk and your baby.
Postpartum
Not breastfeeding? Many pregnancy cautions no longer apply, and results say so.

Questions
What does Momclear check?
Skincare, cosmetics, food and drink. Scan a barcode, photograph an ingredient label, or paste the ingredient list, and Momclear checks each recognised ingredient against your stage.
Which stages does it support?
Trying to conceive, pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum (not breastfeeding). The same product can get a different result at each stage, because the advice is different.
Will it tell me a product is 100% safe?
No. Every result is one of four outcomes — no concern found, depends on how it is used, ingredient concern found, or we couldn't tell. We also list any ingredients we could not recognise, so a clean result never hides an unchecked ingredient.
How are results worked out?
An AI model reads the ingredients and your stage and must answer in a fixed four-outcome format with per-ingredient reasons. If the answer cannot be read reliably, Momclear shows "We couldn't tell" rather than a reassuring result. See how verdicts work for details.
Is my scan history private?
Your scan history is stored on your iPhone, not in an account on our servers, and is never used for advertising.
Is this medical advice?
No. Momclear is educational. It does not diagnose or treat anything and does not replace your doctor, midwife or pharmacist. It does not cover medicines or supplement dosing.
Where can I get it?
Momclear is free on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. You get 5 free scans every week, and no account is needed.
